Just on Monday...William How mention to the yr 2 ppl to write a list of thanks giving to give thanks to people who help you throughout the year. So I think this will be my list of thanks...

1) MB0603: I really appreciate this class as they help me out in most of the thing for the year such as teaching me, guide me in my studies and reporting. I admit that I'm a fault or be a jerk, but still thanks for still being my friend.

2)MB 0601/2: This are some new friends I make during the orientation 2007. It's not a waste of knowing friends like Alvin, Hafiz, Ah guan, Jun Yi, Wahyudin, Shang Feng and many more. They taught me (that's Hafiz), entertain me (Wahyudin, Shang Feng + Alvin)and we are also now friends who play badminton sometime once in a while.

3)Xiao Mei: Hmm..Know her for about like half a year(is it that long already?) and she was like kind of enough to tolerate all the sarcastic jokes I make on her but nevertheless, she still smile to you and entertain you with jokes with the 0601/2 ppl.

4)46th BB company: Really, this is the place where I mature my thoughts. I learn to mentor this group of boy through out the year and I learn that life is not as simple as it is. Learn to practice skills that Oilam and Edwin taught me.

5) NYP Primers: Thanks to the primers, I'm able to learn to teach people and also develop my leadership ability by leading the primer company. I'm also expose to lots of problem but they will teach me and mentor me to be a better person, especially Mark and the seniors. I wish that the membership of the club will increase in the following year.

6) UG Conference + National Camp 06: This 2 group allows me to experience the different UG and sort of remind me why I'm still in the UG at this point of time. I really like the time I spend with this group of people like the outing we have in 2006(NC ppl) and the dinner session which only 3 turn up(UG conference). Thanks alot guys. See u all during outings!

7)My family: I think they are the most important person that I want to thank as without them, most of my life will be full of problem as they console me in times of trouble. They support me both financially and emotionally. Although they nag at certain times, I know that in my heart they are concern about me.

8) Cell group: Although I just mix with them for about 2 months, I feel that they are important group of people to hang out with. My 2 buddies(Ren Hao and Kelvin) always support my actions. Kelvin will always guide me in both BB and studies. Ren Hao just a good friend to chat with.

This will be the majority of people I will be thanking for the time being. If I thought of one, I will update on this entry.

Ok I was being locked in the astro room but thanks to Edwin, we are being free from the room. But it's not really a big deal coz the room got air con, food and water so its ok for survival lor.

Aniway, let me blog abit wat happen in this past wk after primer challenge.

Tuesday: Went back to sch and was super tired (due to too much sleep:x). Of course check progress with the team and update on the project. Everyone is good to go.

Wednesday: Actually suppose to go Medicacorp to do filming for the Campus Yummy food hunt but I rather stick with my friends so decide to give it a miss. I went to K box with Jun, Xiao Mei, Hafiz and Xiao bin. Hafiz sang well man! I am very impressed man!

Thursday: Eh wat did I actually do? Bioinformatics, Protein tech and intro to immuno lesson lor. Nothing much.

Fri: Wanted to go sempang bedok, but due to low no, we didn't go to sempang but went to symphonic concert instead. They did a good job man I really like Phantom of the opera man! It's so cool. Time wise was around 10 plus by the time it finish.

Sat: Went to NYP Primers for good neighbours day. Did bread delivery to the neighbours. After which went to play badminton and watch movie with the gang. I was wearing Jean and playing badminton so it's hot. Plus, we were playing 3 good players and it sure is fun. Watch beuwolf after that. I didn't know it's an animation movie lor. Manage to identify one actress which is Angelina Jolie who act as the witch.

Sun: Went back to NYP(Yes NYP!) for BPT blog! OMG imagine going back to NYP to do project...so sian. I do with the gang until like 4 then go home for Ah gong's birthday dinner. So long nv see my relative and they all are giving "words of wisdom"...So manage to take some photos.

Yo guys! I'm back from Primer's Challenge. Actually it's not really a challenge lor. Compare to Mt. Ophir, it's like nothing. But aniway, this is my reflection for the past 4 days. Primer's from Group D can take this as reference.

Day1
Wake up quite early, like around 5am. Eat breakfast and head off to meet Kelvin.

Thats me heading off from my home @ around 6 plus. I ask Teck to lend me his notes to copy when I get back to school.

Of course we went to eat breakfast. I ate mac as usual due to it's cheap student meal. Eaten half way thou.

The first primer we meet is Timothy. He's the activity leader of group B and he entertain us from the bus durign our trip to Murni Camp.

Group D photo. We were like the most active group. Taking photo whenever possible man!

The Primer Challenge team before depature from BB HQ. Mr Desmond Koh give us a motivation speech before we left.

Me, Emil and Kenneth. Getting ready for the trip.

We head onto the bus and reach Tuas. Due to miscommunication, we have to wait 20 mins for the bus. Emil is doing his busking while waiting. We played along by tricking Catherine that someone give Emil money when actually it's us. After which, we have our mini singsipiration at the Tuas checkpoint.

Emil skunk called Skunky. He's like his partner man. Heard from Kenneth that a gal give her. Sounds nice...

Emil's pay for his busking skill.
Aniway, the bus ride is like 8 hr plus long and boy it's bored to death. But for Group D, it means fellowship time! We played different card games like tai di and bluff. I manage to clear my cards most of the time and I have to help Joshua clear his... Proved that I'm good at lying but I hardly lie lor.

So about an hour or 2 later, we reach our first stop whereby we makan our lunch. Of coz some went to buy chewing gums... others just buy sweets.

Then continue the bus journey...again, we sleep and play cards for about another 6 hours. It's another stop to have toilet break. Ppl also buy Doughnuts coz they r too hungry. I make a discovery too. Do u know KFC student meal cost them abt 3.75 RM. That's like $1.70 sin man! OMG...

In the bus, Group D have their meeting to disuss on the night games. We discuss for about half an hour before we reach the campsite.

Photo taking again! This is before we enter the campsite. Time is around 7 plus pm.

Before we reach the campsite, we take a mini lorry over to the campsite. That ride feel like escape theme park man! Except it's more exciting. Everybody were like dogding the banana leaves and were shouting down! It's so fun.

Taken before the ride start...Getting ready!

Taken during the ride trip. It sure is fun man!

A photo of us before we prepare for our dinner:) So hungry man...

After dinner,Catherine told us our game was cancel and thus our group was like sad coz we plan the game (although it took about half an hour to plan) so hard. Train abseiling for the night and then go to bath and sleep.

Group D with Catherine after the first day debrief session.

Formal version

Of coz I take with Joshua on the swing as there's hardly a wooden swing in Singapore so took the photo.

Day 2
Wake up early to eat breakfast. After which we head out to the waterfall abseiling. Again take the mini lorry and the dodging game start again.

Jonathon staring at the ant. He look so focus man! Artistic photo I would say.

Emil took it during the bus ride. Apparently, all of them were standing out except me, Emil and Zheng Yuan cause we manage to find some space to sit.haha. But there's a disadvantage of sitting down...you will be breathing in the exault air from the pipe...bad for health man...

That's a dragonfruit if you can see from the pic. I was surprised to hear that dragongfruit is grown in M'sia.

Now we are heading off to the waterfall site for canyoning! I was abit scarced at first when doing it, but after going down, I treat it like normal abseiling and just went down. I really like the feeling of water splashing on my face. As if I forget all the school work in NYP have been forgotten.

Next stop, survival Cooking. I was like the helper and photographer of the cooking team. Tried the rock cooking formation. Find it quite cool to cook like that. We tried to cook hard boiled egg and other stuff.

Taken after survival cooking. Like Kenneth looks on the waterfall. It's like as if the waterfall will splash us alway.

Head back to do rafting! Now this is the best part. We were like being throw down from the river and was to swim back to the shore. However, the current was abit strong and I was nearly been washed away. Luckily, I manage to get a hold and swim back. Abit tired due to the water. We have tutorial session on rafting. Our Captain, Andy teach us all the necessary stuff we need to know.We experience the 2 rapid, one known as broken ledge and the other is double boom?(I forgot the name). But it was fun. Zheng Jie, Brian and Jon fall down and we perform the rescue. We also execute the paddle rescue mission whereby some team's paddle drift into the water and we manage to get it back.

Rafters of Group D!

Group D photo! Half way through the journey...Strive forward!

The guy seating down is Andy. He works here for 1 and a half yrs already. Quite nice guy to interact.

Ok now we have about 3.5 hrs break and we have to use this time for talent time. So we decided to let Emil perform and we do some action to follow him.

We were singing collide during this time.

After this, we went for night walk for our day reflection. I have nothing much to reflect on except to think about the days event. Later, we have to walk back with our torch light off and using candle to show our way back. Emil hold the candle and we walk slowly.

Taken after our night walk activity.

Now this is the spooky version. We switch the light off and take this photo. I find it quite nice ah.

Day 3

Our last photo taking at the campsite. We are going to say goodbye to this campsite and hello to the hotel.

Early breakfast morning. This is how the milo looks like when it's left for too long. Joshua look amaze.

We are now getting out of the campsite and heading towards the last challenge, caving. So once again, a prove that we were in the cave.

In the cave, we did both the wet and dry route. The wet route is very challenging as all the salamite make us difficult to manuever around. We have to crawl under it and do army stuff crawl to continue the path. But seriously, the cave structure is nice as you see how the errosion of the place mould it to form beautiful sculpture.

Photos during the caving. I scarced my camera got wet so I ask Emil to be the photographer for this parts onwards.

All right that's me been in a shocking state. It was in the dark at that time so I thought it was blood on my hand. But turn out it's just mud...

Crawl into more holes. I ask Joshua to take as I hardly got photo of me doing any of the stuff.

Finish the caving at last and it's time to head to IPOH hotel!

Me and Jon on the bus. Too tired after the caving so didn't post for the camera.

This is how my room look like. I'm sleeping in the same room as Zheng Jie. So still ok as it's still familiar ppl.

Thats the shop which sell famous kaya puff. Too bad there is very little left if nt I will packet for my dad and mum.

Come to IPOH must eat IPOH hor fun lor! It's as if you come to Penang not eating the laska. There's a difference toward the food man!The noodle is white in colour instead of the brown we see in Singapore. We also order chicken and bean spourt to eat along.

At night it's shopping time! I manage to buy click 5 album, goong comic, one pouch, one wallet and one soccer ball for Teck. Of course, the guys bought food and we party till about 1am in the morning.

Day 4
The last day already. Look at my breakfast man!

Me,Jonathan,Zheng Jie and Rosanna before leaving IPOH Hotel.

At around 9.15am, we went to board the bus and we have group A to entertain the group just like how group B entertain us on the first day. During the afternoon, went to eat A & W for lunch! How long have I last eaten that man! I eat one of the meal plus a ice cream waffle....omg it's so delicious la.

During the last checkpoint before heading to Singapore, we stock up on our chewing gums. You should see how the group buy the gums man. When we reach back S'pore we have custom check. The detector gave the sound on me and I start to panic, thinking what happen if my chewing gum is been found out. Luckily, he only check one side of it and the pocket didnt check(the side where I place my chewing gum):). After which, took a cab back home with Kelvin,Kenneth and David.

Basically, thats the end of my journey. Learn to build up on leadership + making new friends. Also learn to apperciate some of nature surrounding cause it very rarely to get this in Singapore. Hope to go more of this man.

P.S. I took 3 days to type this blog man...

Ok so for my reflection for the past 4 days...Things that I reflect on for the Primer Challenge...

Friendship: Even though all of us met each other for the first time, we were all able to click with each other as if we are brothers. This reminds me of how amazing the Primer section allow primers from different companies to be connected and come together as one big family in the name of BB. At first I was scarced of been along and don't have friend, but this event make me feel at home as I have friends who take care of each other back and encourage each other to move forward.

Activities: Very grateful to the organising committee who plan this challenge. This is the first time I went to do activities such as Canyoning, Caving and white water rafting. Among the activities, I prefer the Day 2 activities which are Canyoning and white water rafting as you can hardly do this activity in Singapore. Plus I prefer to do water activity as the feeling feel goods and even though the weather is hot, the moment the water splashes you will make you feel cool once again. White water rafting let me experience the importance of teamwork as without good teamwork, we will be spending most of the time in the water due to improper communication, causing members to capsise from their raft. Caving is also good, but it does not provide as much excitment as much as the canyoning and white water rafting.

Food: Of course the food...how should I describe it? The campsite food is nice...I was expecting something worst than that. But they proved me wrong. Provided us with Nasi Lemak and Bee Hoon. The best one is of course during the hotel stay where we ate better food:) Ate IPOH hor fun and other delicious food there.

Nature: Here, I appreciate the nature surrounding here as Singapore has hardly any natural surrounding to view (except maybe Botanic garden or Bukit Timah Hill?). Also, we are able to see landmark such as the caves and waterfall that we will not be able to experience it.

Leadership: From this challenge, I got to learn various leadership style from the other primers as I see how they led the other primers. I prefer the way how Jiang Shan led the primers as he also rally the group to give them the energy to spur on. Also, Kenneth shows good leadership in our group as he shows responsibility in taking care of the group members during Day 1. Always finding them whenever they are missing from the group.

Self-discovery: First...I always thought to myself...maybe I just be a participant in the challenge. But as the challenge progresses, I discovered myself as a leader as I have make alot of decision making. Also, I'm train to give constructive ideas to the team as we were discussing for the talent time night. I also train my confidence as I was initially scarced of the waterfall as it's my first time, but after half way, I built up my confidence and brace it through! So after which, it gives me a sense of achivement telling me I did it!

That's it for the primer challenge! Depending on my schedule, may one to go for another one!

Yesterday attended Roger and Pam's wedding. I feel very happy for them as they are a loving couple and to see them finally get married it's a form of Joy.

Heard from my bros there that they suffered in the morning to let Roger fetch the bride. They have to drink a mixture of coke + soya sauce + chilli. Lucky I only have to help out during the afternoon time haha.

My role in the afternoon was to be a traffic usher. That is to direct the cars into the carpark along with seah hee. We were like seeing the different cars and one of them is a cool mistubishi car. If Shang Feng was there, I think he likes it alot man.Check out the suspension of it.

After which, Roger was singing a chinese song to Pam during benediction time. It's a tough job for him as he hardly speaks chinese. He has to read the hanyu pinying to speak it. So after that it's more photo taking time:p

Ivana was the star of the phototaking man. That's because she normally dress up like a guy but she wore a dress today so all the guys were shock. They called her ah gal for the day lor. Of course we also took with Roger and Pam. Don know why blogspot can't upload the photos now...Check out my friendster for the photos of the day.

Went home and change to get ready for part 2.Went to Paramount shopping centre for the banquet. Well, I was quite stunt to see the surrounding and it was all pubs along the way, filled with foreign ladies. Of course we did the usual "yang sem". Shout till my throat dry. Drink red wine also. I notice a thing thou, to not get drunk, drink some chinese tea after some sip of red wine. It seems to reduce the alcoholic effect of the wine. Of course, the dish were delicious. Here's some of the pics took during the dinner.

Actually, this photo must thanks kelvin's cousin for helping us get it back. Apparently, someone want to take a black and white photo of the group. However, someone press the format button, causing the whole photo to be deleted. Luckily, Kelvin's cousin manage to reformat the card to get back the photos. This is by God's grace man. Joshua ask me to pray that my photo will come back and it indeed work man!

Once again, Congrats to Roger and Pam. May the both of you have a blissful marriage all the way.
