Ok today I just blog about the yesterday outing and today's stuff.

Well, yesterday before the UG outing, I went back to NYP Primers. It was sure tiring for me as I was actually supposed to slack over there when suddenly a girl has injuried herself. I went to help her out. Her injury is quite serious as she has a swollen bad knee.

Anyway, also went out for the outing yesterday. However, only Stephen, Si Ming and me turn up. So sad man!So we decided to hang around causeway point. We eat Jackplace and watch the movie I propose you chuck and larry. So funny and it's worth it man. Order Steak and Chicken Combo and Si Ming also treat us to red wine=)

Now, I'm at Shu Wen house. We have some delicious food like cheese hotdog and nacho. Now seeing High School Musical 2 at her house. Go home will play high school musical 2.

hm...Today been pondering this funny question... It's mid authum festival and all the office people are allowed half day off. What's so special about today that we are allowed to take a half day leave man? It's just a day where we eat mooncake only.

Beside, I been post to do a new project in the office. I have to match the data just like what I've done in the first few days of my job. It's much more easier this time as lesser data to search. Troublesome thing is have to do a total of 12 countries. So far I have done Australia and Hong Kong. Started Singapore and I think by tomorrow I should be able to finish it.

ok now I am about to teach my kid here on his tution but apparently he is slacking as usual lor. Always try to find excuse to skip study.

Today went to church already and have a fun time there. Saw Han Quan and Zarra there. After service, met up with Kelvin and Ren Hao and Roger. This time, we have a task of planning the cell group retreat. The funny thing is a retreat should be relax and fun but we ended up planning in super detail. Is it because we are from BB? and we do too much detail planning there le.

Well, tomorrow still got to work, Wed still got I-POD meeting to do and sat may have UG Grp 11 outing lor. Got to getcha my head in the game.

I'm about to end my work of the day as I taken half day leave to do some business first. After which at night will be hanging out with Roger to watch Underdog! Whoa that's like a cartoon when I was in pri sch lor.

Anyway, yesterday I went to K-Box for the first time! (clap clap). Well I wanted to go there since I like to sing song. But as usual, my singing is not that good compared to Jocelyn and Shu Wen. Well, Jocelyn's sec CCA was choir so I find it not surprising that she can sing well.

Just manage to sing some songs and hear new songs. One song that I like now is At the beginning. It's a show from Anatasia the animation movie. The strange thing is this show was shown as few years ago and the song become popular now. I watched that show but didn't recall there is this song.

After K-Box, went home and Jocelyn spam me with all her songs man! I was quite tired at that time already and I know my eyes will closed by itself any minute. Well, Thanks Jocelyn for the songs.(That's if you ever read it).

Betrand is making the 70% alcohol and 30% 7-UP. See the way how he pour, looks like a pro man. Lol Hafiz been emo. I found this quite a cool shot that I have made. Look at his expression plus the light on his face. It's very artistic man!The 3 people who lives in Tampines from MB. Alvin, Me and Min Feng. To Alvin, I treat him like a brother like that. Always help him in watever I can. Jiang Yi Qi was my principle towards him. Min Feng, I treat her like a sister like that. She's quite funky. She's older by Alvin like 20 days.

Stacking up time! See that ball of hair there? That's actually Alvin man! I was like totally laughing with Min Feng upon the photo is taken. We basically are like stacking up on top of each other.

Remember this pose somewhere? That's right the mocca TV commercial. I'm trying to follow the muscle man...unfortunaly, I don have the muscle to produce that effect....The people chating with the others and interacting with one another.Time wise should be around 9 plus. We were watching the last eposide of the like father, like daughter and took this photo. I look whiter and Hafiz look darker. Was thinking if this cam can be racist?Same timing as Hafiz one. We were watching the show. She was telling Shang Feng and the rest the synopsis of the past eposide lor. We were also rushing to refill upon the commercial time. Send her home after the whole event. She said my alcohol smell was damm strong man! Hmmm...I didn't smell anithing.

So that's basically about it lor. I am now thinking tomolo should go there for mahjong session? Also I still got to go to Ngee Ann poly on wed for IPOD plus a reflection to be done on UG conference man. Got to sleep ciao!

sian man...now working in this office. Really want to die lor. In about an hour time, I going to have my lunch break~ Really want to eat man~ I haven eaten breakfast lor.

My work: basically just type data into com.Sounds simple but tiring! I have to type and type and type with my eyes feel so pain. Ai ya. Pay rate still ok~ $6/hour. I don know hw many more days must I work before I get my pay lor. Sian~

Whoa It was my first conference and I have sure a good memories over it. Well let me just talk about the things happen during the 3 days.... let's time travel~~~

Day 1

Ok reach RP @ around 8.15am and starts registration. Notice that I'm in group 11 but don't care much for now. So far I know Han Quan was with me @ that time. After which, the conference begins with the opening address by MOS Gan, followed by Police commissioner Khoo Boon Hui. Mr Khoo was a former BB boy oh.(I didn't know that).

Next, tea break followed by another 2 talks by Mr Koh on yellow ribbon project and Mrs Sally Chew, the girl brigade president talking about villagework project.

After that, lunch and have NYAA talks. I really glad I make the right choice as I get to know Elisha teaching on MAD. MAD does not stand for crazy, it's Making A Difference, which is quite true as UG does make a difference in my life. Doing the exercises reminds me of the good old days of why I join BB. After that, went to A-Z of phobias. Learn lots of things in that room and met several UG and take photos.

After that break up into our various group and met UG group 11. So we didn't bond much on that day. Just roughly memorise name. So let's proceed to second day then~This time pics talk~.

Day 2



That's Zarra, Matt, Me and Han Quan taking photo. Zarra is a cute and bubbly girl with a lively personality that makes us cheer up quite easily. Matthew is always doing his best to entertain the group and plucking Han Quan white's hair. Han Quan on the other hand...was talking to me lor. There's an addition of 3 new members to the team. Pei Wen from Girl Guide, Yifan from NPCC and Elaine from NCDCC. Later I then tell you the whole group comprises of who and what UG.Here is one of the room in the officer cadet school (OCS). Today happens to be the pass out parade too. Congrats to fellow Junior Officers there. Also happen to know that solider has to march from place to place to set example.OCS emblem. There's a sword, torch and 66 leaves in today. The motto for it is to lead, to overcome and to excel. The sword symbolise the art of war while the torch represents knowledge. There's a joke about it saying that the sword is to kill people, followed by the torch which uses for burning people. LOL
There you go. The colours of the SAFTI and Singapore flag way back in the pass.

As I said that the sword and torch. A senior officer will pass it down to the new junior officer.

UG group 11, 12 and half of 13. We were taking it but too bad screen view is small so some will be left out.

That's Tian Han, Me and Han Quan while we were at the top of SAFTI tower. Speaking of that tower, it is say that it has 265 steps which symbolises the no. of days the Officers cadet stays in OCS. Wonder if it is true or just concidental one?

After that, we head back to Discovery Centre and took this group photo with the help of terrence. We were like abit sian sian due to the bad lunch we had. It reminded me of SGB food as there's is no taste, not appealing to the eye and it's smell bad. We are about to start Amazing Race soon~

After that head back to RP and do some more reflection.

That was taken after the whole event end on Day 2. We were discussing the vision for our group.

Day 3

As you can see, thats the vision of our uniform group. Quite cool eh using durian as the background and with the following statement.

That's pei wen in that pic. I don really know her well but she since to be a fun and love to talk to Zarra. So they would like to go Taiwan to do shopping la. Wish I find it quite true as I also go to Taiwan and shop 2 years ago.

That's SiMing. He was our facilitator for the past 3 days in the UG conference. He was like chatting with me the whole night yesterday regarding on the vision statement. Of course after that we became good friends. Was shocked when he said that I was his first BB friend la. Thanks for the sweets aniway.

Snap it while they SiMing was talking about the problems UG is facing. I think they were like doing something like reading an message from phone or take more photos... that's so common for girls.

Photos of 8 UG in Singapore. There are a total of 9 UGs in Singapore. However, Elaine is not here if not we will have all 9 UG together. Elainie represents the NCDCC (National Civil Defence Cadet Corp)

Me, Zhen Shen and Johann. Johann was our group leader during the Discovery Centre visit. He sure is one good guy to hang around with. Zhen Shen leh was a nice guy to chat with. I been sitting with him during the global forum and we chat issues and talk jokes.

Me, SiMing and Bruce before the conference start. Well, Bruce teach Jonathan, Kubo, Johann and the guys some basic cantonese. Well, I too also learn. Really interested in learning it as it sounds cool man!

She is from Hong Kong SJAB. I know her due to the NYAA sharing session but not that familiar. Heard her name is Kathy. Ah qiao is her boyfriend. They are sure friendly people as they share the NYAA talk together saying no money is what people fear most! Both local and global.

That's us taking it after the launch of the UG stamps. I better remember to order that stamp before 12 sep man. If not it will be damm expensive leh. Well, SiMing also carries the uniform group in Singapore sign. That makes it cool man...

Now, we took another one. This time with the uniform group flags. Too bad SiMing was being cut off. Everyone was like standing near their respective UG flags man. Just wish I can take it out and hold it like a colours parade.

To Zarra: if I ever bully u too badly, please let me know and I will sincerly apologise you personally. And you stay bubbly yeah little girl...

Right. The power of NPCC and Boys' Brigade. I am doing that evil villian in the astin powers signature move. Johann was doing rapper pose along with Han Quan and Nash... just stay cool.

Now that's Tian Han and Zarra. Reminds of giants and drawf man. The cool and the cute is what best describe this picture. If Tian Han wear his sea scout cap, he will definetly charm lots of girls.

The primers from 46th, 45th and 18th coy. 46th = Junyuan Sec, 45th= Xinmin sec and 18th coy= northland sec. We stick with each other from the briefing till the end man. We also went in to NYAA talk together.

Ok that's all the photo talking. My last point...

UG conference allow me to think critically and share lots of view from the different UG. I get to know more friends and have a good time there. If there's another one, I sure would like to go again as a facilitator if possible... =p

Today went to do ushering at the Fullerton Hotel for BB SGB 20th anniversary dinner! That's like once in a lifetime experience cause it's a high class hotel and you know it's very hard to enter there.



Basically my job is to be a stage usher whereby I guide the guess up and out of the stage upon receving their token of appreciation. Also have to look after two junior boys which I find them cute...due to their face. The waste thing is I'm not able to taste the food there. Man...what a waste...



After that the primers went to take their break at the cocktail reception and we start to interact with each other. We sabo people and come up with funny plans. One plan was made by Benjamin and we push it to Calvin. So funny la...haha...

as Suzanne have say, I'm the organiser for this time event. Unfortuanetly, I'm not free this week due to BB activities. I'm free from the 10 sep onwards. I have a few suggestion for the outing.

1) Have lunch/ dinner together @ Sakura restrauant

2) Watch movies together

3) Go out to East Coast and have BBQ. (Someone have to book the pit as I don know how...)

4) K box (that is ok if everyone likes to sing...)
